100 tiny paintings project

Tiny original paintings on handmade paper.

Miniature in size, big in heart.

Delightful

Imagine holding a Scottish landscape in the palm of your hand.

Loch Ness, Glen Coe, the Isle of Skye.

A tiny tangible manifestation of memory and feeling, a delightful reminder of profound beauty, an emotive connection to a place of genetic heritage.

this collection is for you, dear one.

100 tiny paintings

What started as a “100 day project” evolved into a 100 tiny paintings project.

Unconstrained by time, but inspired by places and beings that hold my heart, the project has become a love note to the wild.

Small thematic collections started to appear …

Scottish landscapes, ancient, wild and untamed. The Calanais Standing Stones, timeless, mysterious, inspiring. Local water birds - great egrets and blue herons.

It is a wide and wild feeling, a secret garden in your heart, all blues and greens. Verdant. Overgrown and deliciously abundant, with treasures to be found in every little crevice, under each leaf, under each wing. Mystical. Mythical.

Miniature. Expansive.

That spark of recognition, that flicker of enchantment, your connection to the wild.

Miniature in size, big in heart

2”x3” (5x7.5cm) original paintings on textured, handmade paper - each a unique piece.

Keep an eye out as more paintings will be added through the year!
