That was my story too
Some time ago, you’d likely to find me surrounded by towering stacks of books—nose burrowed in a textbook—taking a deep dive into the subjects that sparked my curiosity. While I’ve always had the spirit of an artist, I also had an insatiable thirst for academia.
Dual degrees in Psychology and Medieval Philosophy.
A Master’s degree in Human Rights.
And some incomplete post-graduate work in Ancient Egyptian Archeology and Medical Herbalism.
Are all areas I ravenously explored without finding one that felt like a natural fit. Yet I carried on as best as I could.
In 2016 I found myself utterly exhausted from working, researching, and volunteering some 80+ hours a week. It was then I finally picked up a paper and a bunch of freshly-sharpened graphite pencils. I turned to nature for healing and nurturing, and found my calling.

My process is gentle and slow. Each piece is an act of reciprocity that nourishes the heart and soul. With each tiny fleck of colour, I begin layering little worlds within worlds.
