ABOUT THIS PIECE
The Great Grey Owl has long captured my imagination, indeed I have honoured this impossibly superb creature before, and no doubt will again many times. I am enraptured by their large facial disc, their light yellow eyes that hold an impossible gaze, the depth of floof (a technical term I am sure) in their plumage, and the way their blue grey and brown tones work together so well. But this girl, her simple cocked head, filled me with such joy when I saw her. I had to honour her, and her kin through her.
The name of this piece was inspired by the poetry of Mary Oliver, who wrote many words about owls, their at once mysterious and wholly grounded nature, and connection to all facets of the web of life.

Your artwork will ship from Australia and shipping time varies. Unless specifically stated otherwise, your piece will leave my studio within a few days, via Australia Post (and then their international partners). Shipping in Australia and to New Zealand usually arrives within a week. International packages are a bit outside of my control. If you have not received your order after 6 weeks, please get in touch.
Border fees, duties, and handling fees may be charged by other countries, and are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Tracking is also quite unreliable with international shipments. You will receive tracking information so you can follow your piece (as best they update it!) as it flies across oceans and lands far and wide!. If you would prefer a courier, local pick up, or other shipping method, please get in touch.
